Appointed as Executive Director by the Board of the Chamber from 1 August 2009.
A member of the Management team for the daily running of the Chamber with the President and Gareth Garvey, Board member.
Employment History
After completing a BA Humanities degree in the UK, I started my working life as a Course and Conference Secretary for a international company that arranged mid career training for engineers and planners. Later, I took on the role of Company Secretary and Administrator for their membership holding company and gained my Chartered Secretary qualifications. I joined the Embassy on moving to Denmark, working first in the Commercial section (now UKTI) and then in recent years as a Political Officer responsible for Environment, Energy, Agriculture and Transport.
I was appointed as BCCD's Administrator in September 2006.
Personal History
I have lived in Denmark, with my husband since 1988 and have two teenage sons. I speak Danish, play golf and enjoy "spinning" for exercise.
