COBCOE is the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe.
It is an independent, non-profit making organisation representing British chambers of commerce throughout Europe and acting as an umbrella organisation. It works with its 31 member chambers to advance international trade and business with the United Kingdom. In that way, it gives a voice to about 8,000 businesses from all sectors of trade and industry involved in business with the UK.
They aim to protect and promote the interests of their constituent chambers and in turn their members through representation, cooperation and trade stimulation. They do this by liaising closely with governments and organisations including the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Institute of Directors (IoD), and British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) to ensure that members’ needs and concerns are addressed.
