Internationals in Danish Business LifePrint

The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark is working with AIESEC to organise this event discussing the benefits and challenges of a diverse workforce.  The evening will include the chance to hear from Dansk Industri, Expat in Denmark and Omada A/S - a software company that has succesfully integrated a large number of non-Danish employees, and attributes a portion of its success to this decision.AIESEC logo

Anders Harbo, Director Leadership Development, Confederation of Danish Industry

Facing demographic changes and severe global competition makes it important that Danish companies stay competitive. This depends on having access to the most innovative and industrious people. How do Danish companies attract and retain the best from Denmark, as well as the rest of the world?

17:35 Cultural Management

Craig Till, Head of Secretariat, Expat in Denmark

International staff invariably arrive to Denmark with a wealth of talent and experience formed in a working environment different to that in Denmark. However, Expats also leave Denmark after a relatively short period of time. How do these ‘Expats’ adjust to the working culture of Denmark and to the differing demands which they face from their Danish employers?: And how should employers understand the challenges their Expat employees face, and how should they consider retaining them longer in their workforce?
