| Social Media in a Corporate World | Print |
Have you sent an SMS, read a Blog, heard a Podcast, taken a stroll through Second Life or been Linked-in or Twittered during the last week?
These new social media are having an increasing impact on our private lives, but how and when can our businesses and organisations benefit from the expanding palette of online services and are there any pitfalls?
Karin Høgh, a journalist, blogger and podcasting consultant will give a presentation of the social software she uses herself and give examples of the evolving corporate use of social media such as podcasting. This and other new media can be used as internal as well as external communication and as additional tools in the marketing mix, but they will raise a number of issues and present challenges.
This "on the way home" meeting will be held in the "Egg" room at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in central Copenhagen, which is the world's first design hotel (both the building and interior) by the renowned Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. It provides a delightful setting in which to explore the new age of technology. We will meet at 17.00 to be inspired by Karin and then network over a drink and sandwich until 19.00.
There will be a small charge for this event to cover expenses.(invoices for the following amounts will be sent to those signing up):
DKK 100 excluding moms for members
DKK 130 excluding moms for non-member guests
