Birgit Aagaard-Svendsen, a Director with J Lauritzen A/S was the Chairperson of the Danish Infrastructure Commission from when it was appointed in 2006. Their work was completed in the autumn of 2007 with the presentation of its report "The Danish Transport Infrastructure 2030". The report formed the basis of the infrastructure negotiations which will take place in the Danish Parliament this autumn.
Birgit is an academic engineer by education. Before joining J Lauritzen A/S, she was a Director in Nordisk Film A/S from 1996 - 1998 and a Director with Telecom Denmark from 1992 - 1996. She is also a member of the Board of Danske Bank.
