| Lucian Freud Exhibition and Reception | Print |
A special event has been organised for members to see the Lucian Freud Exhibition at Louisiana Museum for Modern Art in Humlebæk on
Wednesday 16 January 2008 at 16.30
We are grateful for the support of British Petroleum in Denmark, to make this arrangement possible.
30 BCCD members will have the opportunity to join a special guided tour of the exhibition with one of Louisiana's art historians. The British Embassy will also be inviting a similar group of non-BCCD member guests making 60 guests in total.
For further information on the Exhibition itself, please look at Louisiana's website.
After the tour, which will last approx. one hour, we will have a reception in Louisiana's "boat house", where Anders Kold, the Curator at Louisiana who has been involved with bringing the exhibition to Denmark, will give us the benefit of his insight into Freud and his work.
The event will finish by 19.00 at the latest.
NB/
As places are limited, only members and their spouses/partners will be able to sign-up for this event. ie. no outside guests on this occasion.
Places will be allocated on a strictly "first come - first served" basis with a maximum of 2 places per member. We will retain a waiting list and you will be asked if you wish to be on it, if you are not allocated a place straight away.
We ask that any member signing-up for this event informs the BCCD secretariat as soon as possible if they are unable to attend after all, so that those from the waiting list can be offered the place.
