Hamlet Performance at Kronborg 2010

Join other members, their spouses and families to see a completely new take on Shakespeare's Hamlet. Schaubühne Berlin, one of the world's greatest theatre houses, will be performing their version of the play at Kronborg Castle - organised by HamletScenen.

A cast of six actors play all the characters, constantly changing roles. The play is directed by Thomas Ostermeier and the dramaturgy is by Marius Von Mayenburg. Forget everything about Shakespeare’s sweet prince. Hamlet is rebellious and dynamic, the first Hamlet that fights for his right not to fight. Together with music, song and video this is a whole new Hamlet. The show will be performed in German with Danish subtitles.
