Improving your Business' Intellectual Property StrategyPrint

No matter what product or service your business provides, it probably uses and creates intellectual property on a regular basis. Intellectual property issues arise in the day-to-day operations of almost all businesses, as well as in the context of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.

This meeting will address important questions business managers and in-house legal advisers should be asking about intellectual property. For example:

• What does intellectual property mean in terms of our specific business area;
• What actual or potential intellectual property assets does our business have;
• How does intellectual property relate to competitive advantage and revenue generation;
• How do we make intellectual property protection a greater part of our business strategy;
• Are our intellectual property assets being sufficiently exploited;
• Are our intellectual property assets adequately protected, in Denmark and abroad; and
• What legal tools can we employ to protect our intellectual property in the United States?

The presenters will aim to help attendees answer these questions, and to help them better identify, manage and protect intellectual property assets, in order to get the most value from intellectual property ownership.
