This event is now fully booked, and we are unable to take further sign-ups!
The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark is working with AIESEC to organise this event discussing the benefits and challenges of a diverse workforce. The evening will include the chance to hear from Dansk Industri, Expat in Denmark and Omada A/S - a software company that has succesfully integrated a large number of non-Danish employees, and attributes a portion of its success to this decision.
At the event, all guests were asked for comments on their experiences, problems and suggested solutions in regards to three subjects:
Language: Formal and informal work situations eg. Meetings, breaks, office gossip, information availability Work social dynamic: Expectations about type and style of social networks at work eg. Lunch breaks, weekends, after work. Unwritten rules of working culture: Do they exist and are they fully understood by all? eg. Meetings, interaction with colleagues and managers, absences, decision processes
The feedback we received has been collected as is now awailable to you here (pdf format).
