This year's golf day will be held at Ledreborg Palace Golf Club, which has Scandinavia's only course designed by Sir Nick Faldo, on Wednesday 15 June. We have arranged both a tournament for experienced golfers, and a fun golf event for beginners.

The tournament for experienced golfers will be a Stableford competition (with A & B HCP groups) over 18 holes with a gun start. It will be arranged to accommodate company teams, private teams and individual play­ers in a way that will provide good networking opportunities.

The beginners’ event will include training from the pro, followed by a competition. But more importantly, it will be fun! Equipment will be provided for beginners.

Jesper Kjærbye, the Viasat Golf commentator and past Danish Professional Golf Champion will be with us throughout the day to:

• provide pre match tips and coaching
• participate in a “beat the pro” competition
• share his experiences over lunch
• present the prizes

Jesper Kjærbye is 42 and has been deeply involved in the world of golf since his early teens. He began as an amateur player on the national team, and developed into one of Europe’s best golfers. He was a member of the European Challenge Tour team, but a shoulder injury put an end to his professional golf career.

Jesper has kept close contacts within the top-level golf community and has combined TV commentary, PGA golf training, and professional speaking for the last 10 years.

About The Course

The course was designed by the golf legend Sir Nick Faldo and is unique as the only one of his in Scandinavia. It is a “links” course in the Scottish tradition complete with their characteristics: numerous deep bunkers, fast greens, and undulating fairways as well as being laid out naturally. Unusual bumps and slopes in the fairways and greens remain, rather than being smoothed over to give a slightly dishevelled look. Nick Faldo’s comment on the course: “I’m confident that golfers of all abilities will find a golfing experi­ence amongst this historic woodland that is engaging and immensely enjoy­able”.
