| International anti-bribery and corruption | Print |
Anti-bribery laws are tightening up globally. Strictly enforced U.S. laws such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices act (“FCPA”) are sharing the stage with stricter legislation from other countries: the new U.K. Bribery Act is scheduled to come into force on 1 July 2011.
This event is being organised together with the Danish American Business Forum, and will provide an overview of the anti-bribery regulatory and enforcement landscape, the application and relevance of international anti-bribery legislation for businesses operating in Denmark, and highlight best practices for companies and individuals affected. The FCPA as well as the U.K. Bribery Act will be covered. We will encourage participation and debate from all delegates and welcome the sharing of experiences or issues.
