Come and enjoy a stimulating evening at the theatre!

Join other BCCD members and guests to see Oleanna, starring Sira Stampe & Ian Burns, and directed by Barry McKenna. Oleanna was written by Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet and is described as his most controversial drama.

The Theatre has a bar/café so you are welcome to arrive early and have a drink with other members if you wish, however drinks are not included in the ticket price. The play will last for 80 minutes and there's an interval of 15 minutes after approx 45 mins.

After the performance (21.45 approx) we have arranged an exclusive meet up with the Director, Barry McKenna and Ian Burns for an informal question and answer session about their work and the play.

Where: Krudttønden, Serredslevvej 2, 2100 Kbh Ø

When: Friday 11 March 19:30 (curtains open at 20:00)

Price: Member & guest rate: 145DKK inc MOMS, Non-member rate: 165DKK inc MOMS

"OLEANNA has electrifying dialogue, blazing emotion and an ending that will leave you talking for weeks. In this riveting drama, a college professor and his female student become embroiled in a war of words that takes a dangerous turn. As their serene campus transforms into a battleground for justice, Mamet's explosive masterpiece dares you to take a side . . . if you can.

The relationship between a teacher and his pupil turns into an accurate x-ray of the mechanisms of power, censorship, sexual harassment, political correctness and abuse."

If you would like to join us for the evening, please sign up (or email event"@"bccd.dk) as soon as possible as spaces are limited. Once you have signed up, you will receive an invoice for your tickets by email. The tickets will be available for you to collect at Krudttønden when you arrive.
