History
Regus is the world's largest provider of serviced offices, with a network of more than 700 business centres in 55 countries around the globe. The company is also the world's largest independent provider of videoconferencing facilities and a leader in the provision of high-quality meeting rooms.
Regus was founded in Brussels, Belgium, by Group Chief Executive Mark Dixon in 1989. Mark Dixon was inspired by the fact that most business people were working from hotel rooms and he set about bringing the American business centre concept to Europe. He opened his first centre overlooking Stephanie Square with £800,000 raised from the sale of an earlier successful business venture.
Today, Regus serves around 60,000 customers on a daily basis worldwide and employs over 2000 people around the globe.
