Prime Minister Tony Blair in DenmarkPrint

 

 

 

The British Prime Minister, Tony Blair visited Copenhagen en route to the NATO Summit in Riga yesterday. He met the Danish Prime Minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, to discuss Iraq, Afghanistan, NATO and other EU issues. Both Prime Ministers underlined the close friendship between Denmark and Britain at their joint press conference.

 

The Prime Minister also had talks during his short visit with Helle Thorning Schmidt, Leader of the Danish Social Democratic party, and other Danish MPs.
