Throughout the Nordic Region, the Royal Bank of Scotland held traditional Burns Suppers. More than 10 million Burns Suppers take place throughout the world every year in honour of the renowned Scottish poet Robert Burns.
Burns Supper is a traditional evening celebrating the life, works and spirits of Robert Burns (1759-1796). Burns Suppers have been in existence for over 200 years and his works have been translated into more than 50 languages. A strong believer in the equality of man and the romantic nature of poetry, Burns is today an enduring icon of Scotland.
The Royal Bank of Scotland invited 110 people from the business community in Copenhagen to celebrate Burns Night at Sølyst (The Royal Shooting Society Lodge) on the evening of 3 February. Guests included BCCD Board Member and Coloplast CFO Lene Skole and BCCD President Mariano A. Davies.
