| David Frost's farewell | Print |
On his very last full day in Denmark, the British Embassy held a farewell reception for David Frost. It was attended by many Danish politicians (including Danish Government Ministers, the leader of the Opposition Ms Helle Thorning-Smith and many others), Ambassadors and representatives from the business community.
Ambassador Ricardo José Alvarado Noguera (Dean of the Ambassadors in Denmark) spoke about David’s ability to communicate through the media on a variety of different subjects and he reminded us that David was an Ambassador often seen riding his bicycle to meetings at different locations in Copenhagen. BCCD’s President Mariano A. Davies talked about David’s dedication to the Chamber’s mission and the positive role he played in its merger with the British Import Union.
In his farewell speech, David spoke of many positive experiences which included working with the Embassy and Residence team, his blogg with the Danes, welcoming the first sitting Prime Minister ever to visit Denmark (Prime Minister Tony Blair) and the BCCD merger.
