Ernst & Young Golf Trophy 2008Print

The golf tournament, sponsored by Ernst & Young, tested the skills (not to mention the patience!) of both experienced players and new beginners alike on Helsinge Golf Course this year.

After a good breakfast, a welcome by Nikolai Thal-Jantzen, E & Y, basic information and last minute explanations of the rules,

Listening to the rules

everyone gathered outside the club house to “warm up” with Peter. This not only avoided injuries but set the mood of the day and led to some smiles………..

And so on to “Achieving our potential” - 36 players in mixed teams, participated in the main “Texas Scramble” tournament and the 8 beginners spent the morning learning and trying out the basic strokes under the excellent guidance of the Golf Pro, Peter Jeppesen

Tired, but happy and satisfied, judging by the laughter and banter on the terrace, the teams returned one by one to enjoy a drink and delicious barbeque lunch.
