Miller Rosenfalck Shortlisted for Law Society Excellence AwardsPrint

Miller Rosenfalck LLP, the London and Copenhagen based niche European business law firm, has announced that it has been shortlisted for the prestigious Law Society of England & Wales’ Excellence Award in the Exporting Legal Services category. The award will be made to the winning firm from the shortlisted that has broken new ground and actively developed new export markets.

Miller Rosenfalck is the first Anglo-Nordic law firm to be shortlisted for these prestigious awards which highlights the international impact of the firm’s work for mid-sized businesses across Europe. The firm is led by Danish and English qualified lawyer Steen Rosenfalck and has three partners, 12 lawyers with offices in London and Copenhagen. Over 75% of the firm’s turnover is derived from work for international clients or for the UK subsidiaries of overseas businesses. The firm’s initial focus was in the Danish and Nordic markets but this has now widened to include the Benelux, German and French markets, served by the firm’s dual qualified, multi jurisdictional lawyers.

Commenting on the awards, managing partner Steen Rosenfalck said: “When we founded the firm in 2002 we recognized the need for a law firm that was equipped to serve the English law requirements of Scandinavian businesses operating in the UK as well as the European legal requirements of UK owner managed businesses. We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award, particularly as it presents an ideal opportunity to share our innovative approach to providing international legal services to small and medium sized businesses in key European markets."

Paul Marsh, Law Society President said: "The standard of entries for the Excellence Awards has been outstanding and reflects the high level of innovation that exists across the UK legal profession.
