An interview with our guest speaker at the lunch on the 20th of March, Lars Rohde, is in this weeks edition of The Copenhagen Post.

As head of the nation’s largest pension plan organisation, ATP, Lars Rohde keeps a watchful eye on the Danish economy and how changes from the financial crisis affect his organisation’s 300 billion kroner and 4.4 million members - a figure encompassing roughly 80 percent of all Danes.
Rohde also says that the impact of the financial crisis on pensions is related to another, more serious economic and social concern: an aging Danish - and global - population. Especially in the West, people are living longer and retiring earlier. This way the system is paying out more money than is being put in.
