We are rounding up what was traditionally called "the season" by the BBLC with the last official lunch on Friday 27 May where we are pleased to welcome First Vice President, Home Financing at Danske Bank, Karsten Beltoft. He will be clarifying some of the machinations of the Danish mortgage system.

Although the last lunch of the season is in May, the activities continue with the annual golf tournament which will be held on the 14 August at Vallensbæk Golf Club. We are expecting to see as many teams there as there were last year to compete for the trophy. Please sign up as soon as possible to ensure a place.

A small piece of extra news, we have negotiated business rates at the SATS chain of health clubs around Scandinavia. Members of the Chamber are able to enjoy a 20% discount on standard rates. Check out the website for details (members only).

The summer is traditionally quiet for Danish business, but apparently not in the design industry. There are no less that three design events running at the Bella centre over the next four months, starting with the International Furniture Fair this week.
