Cardiff Mission
BCCD is heading up an inward investment Mission to Cardiff in Wales between 22 and 26 November 2006 for senior Nordic business people. This is of prime interest to companies and individuals who are existing or potential investors in UK.
BCCD member companies and individuals who are interested in taking part in this event are invited to apply to events@bccd.dk. Places are likely to be limited and an early registration of interest is advisable. Further information is available at www.bccd.dk.
The event is possible due to Founder Member, International Business Wales (formerly Welsh Development Agency), led by Nick Naysmith, having arranged extensive sponsorship and planned an impressive programme, details of which will shortly be available on the website. The event also has the support and interest of our Patron, the British Ambassador, David Frost, and of the Embassy Department of UK Trade and Investment. Other British Chambers of Commerce and British Embassies will be approached to help to announce the Cardiff Mission to key companies and people elsewhere in the Nordic countries.
Participants will travel to Cardiff on Wednesday, 22 November, take part in a full programme of business on Thursday and Friday, enjoy a day of leisure in Wales on Saturday and travel home on Sunday, 26 November. Participants can be accompanied by partners and a programme of activities has been arranged for those partners who do not wish to attend the business programme.
Administrator wanted
BCCD invites applications to director@bccd.dk, for the role of Administrator from 1 September 2006, in succession to Pam Pourzanjani, who is leaving Scandinavia for Australia. The role will be half time in the first instance (although it could potentially become full time) and will include web site management, membership support, on-line banking and some event management as well as office administration and being the Board Secretary. The BCCD Administrator will work at the BCCD offices in Lautrupsgade on two or three days a week and can otherwise work from home, using broadband internet access.

We need to know who is taking part by the beginning of July.
The Autumn Ball
