Dear Members and contacts,
The Winter/Spring season is well underway now and we have already held two lunches with Søren Henriksen giving a fascinating talk about the Danish model in relation to global competition in January and then in February Karoline Amalie Steen's presentation of the OECD's territorial review of Copenhagen provoked considerable discussion from members and guests on the issues of attracting and maintaining an international workforce, Copenhagen's transport and infrastructure etc.
We also held a very good meeting last week hosted by SAS Scandinavian Airlines Denmark in our "on the way home/gå hjem" series, where Arthur Buchman, a psychologist gave members and guests an insight and practical tools on how to become "Instant Optimists" to tackle the current troubles of the financial crisis, but also setbacks in their personal lives. We plan to repeat the success in Jutland soon, so keep your eyes on the calendar if you missed it.

- There are still a few BIU ties available for purchase if any member would like to order.
- We are planning a mini-exhibition at the AGM in May of some of the historical material which we discovered last year in the BIU archives. More details later!
