From the Board:
Alan Pitts from Chevron will be leaving the Board as he moves to a new position in Perth, Australia at the end of the year.
Alan joined the BCCD Board in 2006 and has made a major contribution to drawing up BCCD-BIU's new charter and supporting new event initiatives.
Our Chairman Alf Duch-Pedersen has said "The whole board joins me in wishing Alan all the best down under. Thank you for your great input and support over the years".

Maths and the Muse

Copenhagen International Rotary Club is holding a fund raising event on Monday 9 November with Professor John Donaldson and author Susan Moody as their guest speakers. The programme will be held at the Marriott Copenhagen, a new member of BCCD-BIU, at 17.00 onwards.
75% of the ticket price (DKK 200) will go as a donation to Rotary's worldwide project "Polio Plus".

The Copenhagen Post will produce a daily English language newspaper during COP15 climate conference from 7-18 December. The COP15 Post is independent tabloid format journal covering the latest news from the conference as well as the myriad organisations, businesses and high profile individuals who will be in the city at that time. Additionally, there will be entertainment, restaurant and hospitality listings, as well as a double page city map and useful visitor information. Prior to the climate conference, readers can visit www.COP15post.com for the latest climate conference news in English.
Over 10,000 daily copies will be distributed through our established distribution network to Bella Center, area hotels and key city points, as well as by 25 individual distributors who will make sure that everyone who wants a copy can get one for free.
