The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark – British Import Union offers one or more scholarship awards every year to Danish students who are continuing their studies in the UK.
The scholarship awards are normally 50.000DKK, and will be awarded to either 1 or 2 students.
Purpose
The scholarship awards support the objective of The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark – British Import Union, which is to maintain and strengthen the close historic, commercial and cultural relations between Great Britain and Denmark which already exist.
The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark – British Import Union is of the opinion that making funds available via scholarships to support young Danish students being educated in the UK is one of the best ways to increase and improve relations between Denmark and the UK.
The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark – British Import Union places emphasis on selecting the best suited students and those who we believe will make the best use of our support for their future.
2010 Dates
Application deadline: 27 May 2010 Shortlisted candidates will be notified by: 10 June 2010 Interviews of shortlisted Candidates: June 2010
The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark – British Import Union will notify all applicants of the outcome of their applications in early July 2010.
The awards will be presented to the chosen scholars at the British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark – British Import Union lunch meeting on 24 September 2010.
Criteria
This scheme is open to students with Danish citizenship wishing to study in the UK. The scholarship awards are not restricted to any particular course of study nor to any particular institution in the UK, but the course of study must be for a minimum of one year. |
