Line Grønbech Sørensen completed her B.Sc. and the first year of her M.Sc. at the Department of Economics, Copenhagen University. She has chosen to specialise in international and environmental aspects of trade by completing the final part of her M.Sc at the London School of Economics reading ‘International Political Economy’.
Line has also worked for the Trade Council of Denmark, a consultancy firm, Copenhagen Economics, and a financial daily newspaper Dagbladet Børsen; thereby adding practical experience to her theoretical training. In the longer term, she would like to pursue a career within International Relations, preferably at a key organisation such as the World Bank, WTO or UN.
Line is also a very talented musician and is the drummer for “The Late Parade” and “Salli Lunn”. Both of these bands have been signed by Danish record label Good Tape Records. She was also elected to join the Danish National Youth Harmony Orchestra in 2001.
